[Maru had been rather indifferent of hugs.... before. Petting he liked. As a cat it was always nice. But hugs were a new thing. No one had ever really hugged him. Until Madoka. And her hugs were always nice.

So you better believe he was purring!

And still purring when she moved him away and he was able to look at her, head tilted a bit he gave her thumb a bit of a nuzzle, because why not? Being a cute kitty came with cute kitty perks and he knew it made Madoka smile.
