The answer for that is always. Mind, Khary eats even more than she does, he's just quiet about it. Najaran.... is food obsessed.

Seriously, he first mission, he first time off her little isle in ten years, big important mission.... he bag is filled with tourist guides about where to eat.

Super important mission later, her Master makes it clear EXACTLY how much she can carry because the teleport spell is finicky. She packs a ton of extra food thinking he wouldn't notice, almost gets herself killed.

Just so ya know... that horn is used a LOT on tv and in movies for comedic effect! ESPECIALLY back in the 70's/80's! ^^ I remember it a LOT on sitcoms and things over here in the UK. It was kind of... common? I think americans would almost call it White Trash kinda thing to do? And usually on really old bangers and crap cars/vans lol. With fuzzy dice!

Edit: The song is "la cucaracha" and referenced a lot in media over the years! Webmind would definitely know the tune, if not that Ant Man used it for his van lol

I had no idea the song is used that way so TIL! I'm mostly on board with the horn/song being an inside dad/daughter joke/running gag.
