Train Questionnaire
Thanks for participating but to protect my sanity, no more questionnaires will be accepted.
Welcome to the Voidtrecker. This is, for better or worse, a new world for all of us and we’re stuck here. In order to detect patterns in these abductions, get important safety information, and other important details for living in this community I’m conducting a survey. Please answer everything to the best of your ability. If you have any questions about the form please consult whoever is standing next to you other than me, because you should be intelligent enough to answer these very straight forward questions.
All information presented here will be kept strictly confidential and the purpose is to collect data.
Please fill it out and deliver it to me, Tony Stark. You'll most likely find me in my lab (aka, the quiet room that has a lock, a 'keep out' sign, and glass painted).
[ooc: Just fyi, Tony *will* comment on something about your answers when you hand in your answers IC. I've checked with the mod and these can count toward bonus threads, etc. Also, it's very common that people lie on these forms. Fill them out as your character would IC please.]
*** Update *** I've recruited a few more people to help with these so you all can get a response faster and spare my sanity. If you have a preference between Tony, Feanor, Ignis, and Gladio. This group might be referenced to as the Welcome Committee before too long.

Chronology:
What’s your name? Lea. I also answer to Axel, though.
What species are you? Human
What’s your birthday/ years you’ve been alive? April 14th/26 years now, I think.
How many years is the average lifespan of your particular species? 70-80, though we can live to over 100 if we're lucky
Year you’re from: That depends on the world you're on, but on the one I was born on, it should be (he puts the Radiant Garden year here, though IDK what it is)
How many months in your world’s calendar? 12
How many days in the months? 28 in one, 30 in some, 31 in the rest
How many hours? Minutes? Seconds? In a month? That's a bit too much math for me to do off the top of my head. But on most worlds there's 24 hours in a day, 60 minutes in an hour, and 60 seconds in a minute.
What was happening when you were taken from your time and woke up on the train platform? I was getting ready for bed. The first time I was magically hauled across time and space by the seat of my metaphorical pants and ended up in the Tenscore Kingdoms- about a year before this train snatched me up- I was on my way back from a day of Keyblade training with my friend Kairi.
What were some of the recent big events that have occurred before you woke? Nothing super huge in the Tenscore Kingdoms that I know of; the school tear at Diatu Magicademy had just ended recently though, if that counts. Prior to my first snatching, Kairi and I were in training to help fight a psycho old guy named Master Xehanort and his Organization, who wanted to take control of Kingdom Hearts and use its power to basically end the world.
If you had not been taken at that point in time, would you still be alive? Yes.
Technology:
What is the most advanced technological device in your world? Let's see... This varies a lot depending on the individual world, but we have things like computers and gummiphones. There's gummi ships too, that are probably the safest way to travel from world to world; not sure if they'd be called 'more advanced' than any of the other stuff though; just different.
Is this train something new or are there trains like this in your world? There are trains, but none of them fly or snatch people from other dimensions.
Do you have trains, but not ones that go through the Void? See above.
What is a common piece of technology you use regularly? Hmm... honestly the one I interact with the most would probably be electric lights back home and Forging equipment at Diatu. But I know how to use a computer, and I was supposedly getting a gummiphone after I finished training.
Magic:
Does your world use magic? Do you use magic? Is your magic based on a device/ talisman/ lineage/ race? Yes and yes, to the first two. The rest is more complicated.
Normally- both back home and in the Tenscore Kingdoms- when most people wanted to use magic, they had to learn specific spells and things. Some natural talent helped too; I'm pretty sure it was required in the Tenscore Kingdoms, but I don't think it is back home. Most people- at least on the world I'm from- only learned a few basic spells if they bothered to at all; that's all they really needed. But there were wizards and researchers who made a profession out of it.
The upside to that sort of magic was that it let you be pretty versatile if you were willing to put in the time to learn different spells. Want to generate a fireball, turn your friend's hair purple, or cause ballet dancing moogles to appear? Learn the right spell, and you're good to go. But the downside is that one spell will only ever do that one thing; if you learned the spell to generate a fireball, and you wanted several fireballs, a bigger fireball, or even a different colored fireball, you're probably gonna need a new spell.
While I did learn some of that type of magic at Diatu, the magic I have back home is different. Due to some... really unpleasant circumstances that happened when I was about 14, I developed a natural affinity for Fire magic. Upside there is that I can do a lot more with that Fire magic without having to learn specific spells. Downside is that it makes me kind of a one-trick pony magically back home; fire magic is the only kind of magic I've got there, unless you count summoning my weapons.
Inventory:
What items were in your rucksack upon waking? Specifically, did anything come with you from your home world? If so, what was it? Yeah; an ice cream stick with the word 'WINNER' and a little crown printed on it. It was a gift from a friend.
Medical
Do you have any medical conditions or issues that are being treated by a doctor? No. But the magic in the Tenscore Kingdoms had a nasty side effect where if you didn't learn how to use and control it, the results would be painful, up to and including it eventually exploding out of you and killing you in a nasty, icky way. I don't know if that's still in effect here or not, but if either Xion or I start to feel weird and suspect it's that, we'll let somebody know and find a place to burn off a little magic safely.
Do you have any known allergies or special dietary needs? Nope.
Companions
Is there anyone from your world here? Were they here before/ after you got here or arrived at the same time? Yep, two of my friends are here, Xion and Roxas. Xion and I actually arrived together; we were both snatched up from our dorm room at Diatu and wound up right next to each other. Roxas arrived at the same time as Xion and I, but not from the same room, and doesn't remember being in the Tenscore Kingdoms at all. Not sure if that's unusual here or not.
Skills
What special skills do you have, particularly fighting or military skills? Well, I have both the fire magic I had back home and the other kinds of magic I learned at Diatu; the former is definitely good for combat and a little of the latter is too. I can also summon a pair of large chakrams- called the Eternal Flames- and my Keyblade- called Flame Liberator; I know how to fight with both, though I've been using the chakrams for a lot longer and am probably better at using those. My affinity with fire magic also means that I can't be hurt by fire directly, whether it's magical or not; indirect harm like smoke inhalation would still be a bad time, but I can't be directly burned.
Aside from being usable like a regular sword, Keyblades themselves have some unique abilities. A lot of them I don't know how to access yet- hence being in training back home-, but the biggest one is being able to magically lock or unlock basically anything, from your run of the mill doors and treasure chests to people's hearts and the doors between worlds. (Note: I already tried creating a portal out of here, but no dice. Will probably try it on the engine room door later, but frankly I'm not too hopeful on that front.)
In terms of non-combat skills, I'm a pretty good cook when it comes to most things besides baking. And I got really into a magical discipline called Forging at Diatu. Forging is basically using things like metal, glass, and stone in combination with specific magical items or spells to create magically imbued objects. I mostly focused on making accessories- like bracelets and things- that offered some protection from certain kinds of harmful magic, since those are in fairly common use back home, but I experimented with other stuff too. If I had the equipment, materials, and time, I could keep working on those sorts of things here, or probably even make non-magical stuff too, but I don't know if anything like that is available.
Are there any chores on the list you'd be willing to do if someone else finds their assigned chores particularly disdainful? Or can you be bribed to do both? I'll do my part and can usually be bribed into lending a hand with someone else's work if need be. If they're really in a spot, a bribe might not be necessary, especially if they're a friend.
Question for subsequent months
Did anyone from your universe turn up at the train station this time? If so, who? I just arrived a few days ago, so... to be continued, I guess?

Hey, Lea, right? Or do you prefer Axel?
Mind if I ask you a few follow up questions?
no subject
Nah, I don't mind. And Lea's fine. Axel is what a lot of my friends from back home call me, since that's the name they first knew me by; just figured I'd include that so if any of them talked about 'Axel' it wouldn't confuse anyone.
Anyway, what'd you need to know?
((OOC: And I just found out that Naminé's player didn't actually drop her as I thought she had, so please pretend that Lea mentioned Naminé being there in the 'Are there people from your world here?' section. X3))

[Gladio had stopped in front of the guy and then looked at the paper in his hand. He didn't think he was really good at asking these questions. This was, after all, Tony's department and he knew what he wanted to hear. Gladio was just winging it.]
You gave us a lot of info, don't think many do from what I know. But I was wondering if you'd tell me more about keyblades?
[Being a swordsman himself, the idea of a key doubling as a blade made no sense to him.]
How does it work? Do they have a sharpened edge?
no subject
And just to be clear, I'm not talking about the literal kind of heart that pumps blood. By 'heart' I mean the part of you that lets you feel things, connect with people, and basically makes you you instead of just a living body. A Keyblade draws its power from that, which is why it can do all the extra things it does, besides just being a weapon.
As to what they look like, that tends to vary a lot from one to another, like I said. Some look a lot closer to normal swords with sharp edges, while some just straight up look like giant keys. Most of them are somewhere in between. I could show you mine, if you want.
