Tobias was glad to reach the water, dropping back down again and gliding in
for a relatively smooth landing next to Nanaki. It was always awkward,
landing on the ground instead of a branch or a rodent, but he managed it
without much issue. He ducked his beak into the water, giving it a little
taste test, even though he didn't have the ability to taste it in quite the
way a human would -- or Nanaki, for that matter.
<You sure you're actually a cat?> he asks, picking his head back up
and peering around. His head darts this way and that, eyes finding
movement. He's tempted, sorely, to have a little hunt, but he knows people
wouldn't appreciate seeing that kind of thing.
