Mission Four: Let it Snow
On the evening of Day Five of the month of Domino (ooc: 10th of January) the train on everyone’s Safety Control Apparatus will shimmer in multi colours looking almost like the void itself. A moment later a holo-screen will pop up with the following information.
The mission will run from the 10th to the 24th January. I will put up a OOC information post with extra world information and team-relevant information on the 10th as well as the IC starter post. The initial starter will be one for team planning and preparing, the evening before they arrive.
For avoidance of doubt the information in the block quote area above is the only information known IC before they arrive on the world. The information on the subsequent information post is for you as players to know what to expect and to give you the information you need for writing the mission. It is information characters will learn throughout the mission.
There will be team starter posts on the 11th January for passengers to begin their mission. There will be a subsequent team post on the 19th January as teams reach their final goals. You are free to put up your own posts onmiddleofsomewhere throughout the event- always make it clear what team mission you are taking part in. There will be a final conclusion post on the 23rd January.
Please feel free to use this as a plotting post. Remember there is nothing forcing your character to do the task assigned to their group so if you wish to do a different one, feel free! If character decide to not do any of the tasks at all that’s fine too, just let me know! Please reply under the colour you decide to go with once you decide for definite!

Destination: Word #58291. A vast world with an array of people. It is technological in nature, space travel has been achieved though void travel has not and they are not aware of multiple universes. The only species capable of greater thought and speech are humans. There are magical systems in the world though it would seem that most of those living there are unaware of such things.
You mission will take you to a valley in the north of one of the smaller land masses. There a group led by a figure who calls themselves ‘Professor Chill’ have activated a weather machine, trapping a valley in a blizzard. The people there are trapped, creatures guard the perimeters and weather conditions mean that the military cannot get close.
Orange Team
The source of the trouble is the weather machine that has been activated. It is situated up in the sky, in a labyrinth that appears to be made of ice. You will be dropped at the entrance and you must find your way through the labyrinth to the centre and figure out a way to deactivate the machine.
Purple Team
Though many of the citizens have fled into the tunnels in the mountains there are still people trapped in the valley. No help can get through because the weather machine has raised ice creatures who are guarding the place. Fight the ice creatures, protect those still in the valley and try and clear a path for aid to get through.
Red Team
‘Professor Chill’ and his group have fled over the mountains. Track them down. There will inevitably be ice creatures in your path. Find the group and stop them before they do any more harm.
Blue Team
Most of the citizens in the valley fled into the tunnel systems. The systems are large and confusing and the cold and ice has reached even far under ground. Many people are lost, injured or trapped. Some of the ice creatures may have found their way down into the caverns. Go down into the tunnels and gather the citizens, find a place suitable as a temporary camp and protect the citizens.
Additional notes
Voidtreckers who are not human are encouraged to take care, but it has been calculated that rescuing the people of the valley is higher priority than keeping them in the dark about the void. Note that the weather conditions seem to hinder technology and flight especially will be difficult if not impossible.
The dressing room is open for your convenience. Dress warmly. You have tonight to prepare. We arrive at first light.
